Death Sentence for Army Private Ronald Gray

In 1988, an Army soldier was convicted of several charges of murder and rape for committing crimes while he was a private in North Carolina. The military requested the death sentence for Ronald Gray. President George W. Bush has approved the Army's request to sentence him to death for the crimes. A president has not approved a military execution in over 50 years.
