The Pee Pee Dance

My youngest is 3-1/2 years old and not potty trained. She's stubborn. She is getting diaper rashes more often now. It's seriously time for her to give up the pull-ups (at least during the day).

We tried waiting. We tried sticker charts. We tried waiting again. We tried getting her a little potty for herself. We tried getting her a cushion seat for the toilet when the little potty wasn't used at all. We tried waiting again. We went through the peeing on my floor when we'd put her in just underwear - repeatedly. She even got my couch a few times.

Seriously, I am so OVER potty-training. She's the last child, the baby of the family. She wants to stay the baby for as long as possible it seems like.

I am desperate to encourage her to think this is a good thing so this is what I did today every time I took her into the bathroom:

Guess what? She hasn't had one accident yet. Go figure. I guess she just wanted to see mom make a fool of herself.
