Mouse Alert

We have a live trap contraption to catch some unwanted rodent guests in our home. We've used the mouse traps that kill them instantly until they smartened up and refused to go into them anymore. We used the glue trap but after seeing one mouse glued to the board last week, alive and trying to get off, I refused to use any more. It was so sad, I almost cried for the little rodent flopping around trying to save its little life. What made it worse was that my husband had already left for work so I had to dispose of it. I felt horrible. Husbands are supposed to kill spiders and rid the house of rodents. It's an unwritten rule!

So we set up a live mouse trap. The door was never shut on it though so we assumed they were avoiding it. Not. The door was broken on it. What alerted us to that was our dog trying to bite the hell out of the mouse trap. Apparently, they've been coming and going in the trap because the door was broken. The dog knew there was a mouse in there. Yeah, one less mouse in my house!

I wish we'd have gotten him before my fridge started making a really bad noise a little while ago. We heard something (the mouse) under the fridge and then an awful noise from my fridge. Stupid little rodents. If a mouse causes me to lose oodles of money to fix or replace my fridge, I am getting the glue traps back out!
