Live Event Video Streaming - a great way to watch a wedding!
My kids love to watch this show called iCarly. It's about a group of kids that do funny, inane stuff and amuse the kids watching them (like all the other shows on some of the cable stations now) and put on a regular show via the Internet. It's a "live" show (called "iCarly" of course) within the sitcom through live event video streaming. They have a videographer (one of Carly's friends) who films and streams it to the Internet. So, you're watching a "show" within the show.
It seems like it'd be a great way to broadcast via the web - advertise with your own channel or schedule an event for people out of town (like company meetings, weddings, etc.). Wouldn't you rather attend that wedding via the Internet (where you can get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the vows if you want to) rather than travel long distance for the cousins twice removed you haven't seen in years? My husband and I were just having this conversation the other day...how many people actually LIKE to go to weddings or how many people can't afford to travel for things like this in this economy?
