Looking for Crib Bedding

We've remodeled our two youngest girls' bedroom (well, my husband, sister, and sister-in-law remodeled it...I held up the walls until the glue dried) and I am on the hunt for the right crib bedding for my youngest daughter's bed to match the pretty bedroom. Even though she is out of a crib and into a toddler bed, I still use crib bedding for her since her crib mattress just went from her crib to her toddler bed. It all still fits!

I'm not really picky or looking for a Tori Spelling bedroom set-up for our youngest but I'd like something pretty but affordable. I've been searching the Internet because local stores where I live (which is in the corn fields) just don't have any styles that I like. Plus, with several family members and friends pregnant, there are always baby showers coming up and crib bedding makes the perfect gift.

Different Diaper Rash Treatment

I just heard of a new diaper rash treatment from our pediatrician that he says the local Children's Hospital uses for babies who get diaper rash after having diarrhea. They combine equal parts Aquaphor (healing ointment) and Maalox (yes, Maalox), mix well and apply. Then store the rest in the fridge and take out to apply until rash is gone. Apparently the Maalox neutralizes the stomach acid in the diarrhea on the skin.

I looked it up online and apparently a lot of mothers knew about it already. I have never heard of this before and we are on our sixth child between us! I wish I'd heard about this a few kids ago.

Daddy Moron

Baby T: "Big puppy."

Dad: "That's an oxymoron, honey."

Mom: "That's not an oxymoron. Some puppies are big."

Baby T: "No, daddy moron."

HILARIOUS!!! Good thing daddy thought so too. I love baby talk. T goes from being speech delayed to calling her daddy a moron. Guess the speech therapy is working, lol. She's talking more. Not necessarily the words we expected or want to hear, but it's speech so "yeah"!!
