What did you do with your stimulus payment?

Well, we finally received ours last week. It was a long wait. So, did y'all stimulate the economy with yours? Here's what we did:

• Paid off a rescue horse, and
• Made a house payment.

What we have left will be to fence in a small portion of our backyard off our family room doorwall for our three dogs to run and play safely without running into the road.

I didn't run out and shop at any malls or buy a car or anything so I'm not sure how much I stimulated the economy (perhaps the person we paid for the horse and for our fence will run out and stimulate it for us when they spend the money, lol). My priority was getting the house payment caught up before we started getting foreclosure threats after months of no overtime. It's hard to support our household plus help support another and make ends meet sometimes.

Where's My Stimulus Payment?

If you are like us and still haven't received your IRS stimulus payment and want to know where it is, there is a page at the IRS site that may tell you. All you do is enter your social security number, filing status and number of exemptions and if it is within a week of your payment release, it will tell you. Check it out.
